This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining strong communication with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills within the commercial HVAC construction environment.Job ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of commercial HVAC construction projects from kickoff through closeoutOversee project schedules, budgets, manpower, materials, and overall project executionCoordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and internal operations teamsReview project drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals to ensure project requirements are metLead project meetings and maintain clear communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleConduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project specificationsManage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, submittals, permits, schedules, and closeout documentsTrack labor, equipment, and material costs to ensure profitability and budget adherenceIdentify and resolve project issues, delays, and scope changes proactivelySupport procurement activities and coordinate equipment and material deliveriesWork closely with field leadership to ensure successful installation and project executionEnsure all work is performed in compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and applicable mechanical codesAccountabilitiesProject timeline and budget adherenceCustomer satisfaction and communicationProject profitability and cost controlSite safety and regulatory complianceQuality assurance and project executionTeam leadership and collaborationOrganizational AlignmentThis position will report to the Branch Leader and is responsible for supporting the operations and project management team.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred5+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC construction projectsStrong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical construction practices, project sequencing, and construction documentsExperience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multiple active projects simultaneouslyStrong knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and cost trackingProficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contractsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferredBehavioral ProfileStrategic SkillsAbility to manage complex HVAC construction projects while balancing schedules, budgets, manpower, and customer expectations. Work environments may include indoor and outdoor conditions, exposure to construction noise, mechanical equipment, and varying weather conditions.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs or ladders, and navigate active construction sites. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
