Position DescriptionTitle: Converting OperatorDepartment: ProductionImmediate Supervisor: Plant Supervisory StaffStatus: Non-Exempt HourlyPosition Purpose: Operates converting equipmentPrinciple Accountabilities Set up and operator multiple converting machineryBand Saw Perforator Sealer 2000SheeterTroubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as neededProduce orders to schedule and specificationPrepare goods for shipping using various equipmentLabel finished goods, place on pallets as necessaryPerform quality control checksAbility to read tape measureMust be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgencyUse PPE as required Maintain good housekeepingRelated tasks as requested by supervisorEssential Skills And ExperienceMust have High School Diploma or equivalent.Manufacturing experience is helpful.No travel requiredMust be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.Must have basic computer skills.Must have basic math skills.
