PLI Systems specializes in the following services: Soil Stabilization, Landslide Repair, Shoring, Retaining Walls, Dock and Boat House Piles, Shotcrete, Cellular Concrete and Lightweight fills, Geotechnical explorations, Limited access work, Grouting, Micropiles, Underpinning, Seismic upgrades, Elevator shaft drilling, Drainage services and unique construction requests.
Responsibilities for Bookkeeper – Regular Office Work Hours
Conduct reconciliation of general ledger accounts in an accurate, complete and up-to-date manner.
Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.
Perform accounts receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, lien wavers, notarizing and revenue recognition.
Prepare financial reports - collections, data summarization and analysis.
Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Point person for booking company hotel reservations for out-of-town work stays, manage payment of expense per diems.
Qualifications for Bookkeeper
Relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Bookkeeping experience in construction industry booking keeping is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
$24-$36 hourly pay depending on experience, benefits package, PTO, sick pay, and opportunity for growth.
