Job Title: Real Estate Transactional AttorneyLocation: Evanston, IL (Hybrid)Our law firm client is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join its growing practice in Evanston, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated real estate transactions and wants meaningful client interaction in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.Key Responsibilities:Handle a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development mattersDraft, review, and negotiate purchase & sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, and related transactional agreementsConduct legal due diligence, title and survey review, and assist with deal structuring and closing processesAdvise clients on real estate investments, transactions, and risk management strategiesWork directly with clients, lenders, brokers, and opposing counsel to efficiently manage transactions from start to finishCollaborate with internal attorneys on complex transactional matters as neededQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar license in Illinois2+ years of real estate transactional experience at a law firmExperience handling commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreementsStrong analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailSalary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $140,000 – $180,000 annually.
