LICSW (Clinical Supervisor Experiance and Credentials)

Job Overview: This position is in our Birmingham AL., location. We are seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team. As an LICSW, you will play a vital role in providing supervision for LCSW’s providing clinical services to our clients. In addition provide mental health services to individuals and families. Your expertise in crisis management, research, and therapy will help support our clients in their journey towards improved mental well-being. Responsibilities: · Supervise LCSW as they provide clinical services to clients · Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs · Develop and implement individualized treatment plans · Provide crisis intervention and management as needed · Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions · Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care · Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans · Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of mental health · Adhere to coding standards and ensure proper documentation for billing purposes · Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications: · Empathy and emotional intelligence · Strong knowledge of crisis management technique · Proficient in conducting research related to mental health issues · Familiarity with systems theory and its application in therapy · Experience working with special education populations is a plus · Expertise in providing PTSD care and trauma-informed therapy · Skilled in conducting group therapy sessions · Knowledge of coding practices for insurance billing purposes · Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality · Proficiency in cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques Requirements: · LICSW Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker · Masters level Social Worker · One year experience as a supervisor · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Vision insurance Schedule: 4 hour shift Monday to Friday No nights No weekends Work Location: In person
