What you’ll tackle Set up and run CNC vertical milling centers to meet job specs and quality targets Install tooling and fixtures; upload/verify programs Read and interpret engineering drawings Perform first-article and in-process checks with micrometers, calipers, and gauges Tweak offsets, make minor adjustments, and troubleshoot light issues Operate up to two machines at a time; complete 1–5 setups per shift depending on demand Thrive in a fast-paced, team-first environment Bring this experience CNC setup experience on vertical milling centers Blueprint literacy Quality inspection skills with micrometers, calipers, and gauges Comfort with Fanuc controls Stand out with Haas VMC setup/operation experience On-control program editing G-code and M-code knowledge Exposure to 5-axis CNC equipment Equipment you’ll touch Haas VF-2, VF-5 DMG Mori CMX 1100 DMG Mori NVX 5100, 7000 Okuma mills and lathes Proficiencies we value CNC tooling know-how G-code and M-code fundamentals Setup and changeover efficiency Repeatable production-run setups Shop tech and tools CNC mill (3–4 axis VMC): Haas, Doosan, Fanuc Multimeter CNC lathe (2–4 axis): Haas, Doosan Vertical lathe
