Job DescriptionThe Shipping Group Leader for the Night Shift is responsible for overseeing general shipping activities, leading the shipping staff, and maintaining a clean shipping department. Loading and unloading trucks efficiently is a key aspect of this role. The ideal candidate will have prior management or leadership experience.Key Responsibilities:Oversee general shipping activities during the night shift. Lead and supervise the shipping staff to ensure smooth operations. Maintain cleanliness in the shipping department. Efficiently load and unload trucks. Utilize prior management or leadership experience to enhance team performance. Qualifications/Education:High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask. Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Reliable and a creative problem solver. Good communication and follow-up skills. Capable of running day-to-day operations. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Computer skills. Behaviors/Motivations:Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Works effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exhibits reliability and creative problem-solving skills. Communicates well and follows up on tasks. Demonstrates the capability to run day-to-day operations. Fluency in Spanish is a positive attribute. Proficient in computer skills.
