Title: Training Coordinator
Reports To: Plant Manager
Status: Full Time/Hourly (40 hrs/week; additional hours as needed to support organization and individual goals)
Job Requirements
Associate’s degree in business, teaching, related field, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of educational or training experience
High level of interpersonal communication skills and professionalism
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Preferences
Bachelor’s degree in business, teaching, related field, or equivalent experience
Excellent project management skills.

Job Summary
Analyze, design and manage work-related training and development programs to improve individual skills and organizational performance.
Essential Job Functions
Identify the educational needs of employees, developing formal training programs and classes.
Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives.
Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
Evaluate modes of training delivery to optimize training effectiveness and training costs.
Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.
Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
Planning and interacting with local schools and students for on-the-job training opportunities.
