Network and Infrastructure Engineer

Overview: Responsible for the physical health, performance, and security of the municipality's core infrastructure and local area networks across all city buildings.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and maintain physical network infrastructure, including wireless network security and optimization. Manage local firewalls, VPNs, and secure remote access gateways. Conduct physical mapping and inventory documentation of all connected devices to a central onsite server. Requirements: Advanced networking certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP or equivalent) and deep understanding of network segmentation, VLANs, subnetting, and physical server maintenance.
