Forward Madison FC is looking for a lively, creative, and energetic person to bring a mascot to life! The Mascot will play a key role in the Forward Madison FC marketing and entertainment team. As the mascot, you will bring excitement, fun, and enthusiasm to fans at games, community events, and special appearances. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity for someone passionate about sports, entertainment, and engaging with fans in a dynamic setting.Responsibilities:Mascot PerformancesParticipate as the flamingo during all Forward Madison FC home games and various community events and appearancesInteract with fans, including children, in a lively, engaging, and professional mannerFan EngagementFacilitate fan interactions during the match as well as breaks in pre-game, half-time, and post-gameAppear at Forward Madison FC-related events such as school visits, parades, and sponsor functionsRequirementsMust provide your own transportation to and from mascot engagements with the costume at Breese Stevens Field and locations around the Greater Madison areaComplete a background check (including driving history) with a verdict that supports the ability to perform job dutiesPhysical stamina and flexibility to perform for extended periods of timeOutgoing and friendly personalityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPrevious mascot experience is preferred, but not requiredMust fit into the mascot suit, which is roughly 6ft tallAt least 16 years of ageExpectations:Comply with all policies of and complete certifications as required by the USL.Listed responsibilities, while demonstrative, are not complete or exclusive.
