Job Description:Software Engineer (Level 2) - TS/SCI w/ PolyWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance complex software systems across a variety of environments, including data-intensive analytics, large-scale data processing, real-time systems, and enterprise applications.This role involves working independently or within a team to build high-performing solutions, ensure system reliability, and contribute to overall system architecture and design.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze user requirements to define software design and performance needsDesign, develop, and modify software to add new features or improve performanceDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defectsIntegrate software into new or existing systems and environmentsDevelop and optimize database queries and interfacesCreate, review, and maintain technical documentationDevelop and implement algorithms to meet system performance requirementsSupport and execute software testing and validation effortsAnalyze system workflows, data usage, and processes to identify improvementsApply data modeling and analytical techniques to guide system designEnsure software meets quality standards through testing and reviewRecommend improvements to development processes and documentationLead or support development efforts depending on project scopeOversee software development tasks and ensure alignment with project constraintsCollaborate with system and hardware engineers to define requirements and system capabilitiesSupport system deployment and monitor performance to ensure operational successContribute to architectural decisions, including software reuse and COTS/GOTS integrationRequirements14+ years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs of similar scope and complexityBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field(4 additional years of experience may substitute for degree)Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph required Technical RequirementsExperience working in Computer Network Operations (CNO) environments (3+ years)Proficiency with PythonExperience in UI/web design and usability development (3+ years)Experience developing database and data repository interfaces (5+ years)Equal Employment Opportunity StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.Required Skills:
