CLEANWELL® Methods Engineer

As part of the expansion of the CLEANWELL® manufacturing footprint, VAM® USA has become the North American CLEANWELL® hub. In this role, the Methods Engineer will support the industrial ramp-up and optimize manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with standards (TSLI-TSSU), training teams, and formalizing local procedures. The position is central to performance monitoring, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. In this position, the Engineer will develop expertise in CLEANWELL® to increase our knowledge base.Your Role at a GlanceOperator Training & Support: Develop and deliver training programs for operators on plating procedures, equipment handling, and quality standards to ensure safe and consistent operations.Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead or participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen projects to identify and implement improvements in productivity, cost reduction, and process reliability.Troubleshooting & Technical Guidance: Investigate process deviations, quality defects, or equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap.Equipment Maintenance & Upgrades: Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to plan preventive maintenance, evaluate new technologies, and support equipment upgrades.Safety & Environmental Compliance: Support the enforcement of safety protocols to ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to chemical handling, waste disposal, and ventilation systems.Industrialization of New Products: Support the transition of new products from R&D to full-scale production by developing robust processes, validating performance, and ensuring manufacturability.Benchmarking & Global Collaboration: Compare local processes with those of CLEANWELL® lines in France (and potentially Brazil and Indonesia in the future) to identify best practices, align standards, and drive global process harmonization.What Sets You ApartWe’re looking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent degree or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of Degree).Experience in electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic systems preferred.PLC programming and troubleshooting / Automation experience / robotic experience preferred.Knowledgeable of Lean Manufacturing principlesAbility to read, write and speak well in English and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills.The position requires the use of a full-face respirator for certain operations.
