Job Summary Join our esteemed fine dining team as a Fine Dining Server, where your passion for exceptional service and culinary excellence will shine. In this role, you will create memorable dining experiences by delivering personalized, attentive service in an elegant environment. Your expertise in food presentation, guest relations, and restaurant operations will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming and professional first impression. Present menus with detailed descriptions, highlighting specials and wine pairings to enhance the guest experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement. Serve food and drinks with precision, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Manage guest needs throughout their visit by checking in periodically, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling procedures. Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow. Support sanitation protocols and food safety regulations to uphold the highest standards of hygiene in a fine dining environment. Experience Proven experience in fine dining restaurants or upscale food service environments is highly preferred. Strong background in guest services with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining genuine customer engagement. Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry. Prior host/hostess or serving experience in a restaurant setting is beneficial. Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills. Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting are essential.
