Accounts Payable BPO Supervisor
Job Summary
Kloeckner P2P Team is looking for an AP Supervisor to transform the business processes and become more efficient. We are dedicated to service quality to our vendors and ensuring invoices are processed correctly and timely. The position will lead our P2P Stream to ensure procedures are followed and look for gaps in processes to improve standard operating procedures. The role will be in person at our corporate office in Roswell, Ga., managing our BPO team in India to ensure procedures are being performed accurately and identify process enhancements to become more efficient. This role will report directly to the Director of P2P and Indirect Spend Management.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing accurate invoice entry, handling invoice exceptions and payment processing by the third-party provider
Assist BPO outsourced AP Team in resolving daily operational issues with the vendors and branches
Back up person to prepare accounts payable weekly forecast
Assist in Implementing and documenting internal controls to mitigate risk
Review of accounts payable sub ledger on a regular basis to analyze vendor accounts
Ensures adequate coverage of AP duties and acts as back up to AP Manager
Assist in internal and external audits for the AP functions
Assist in managing relevant AP metrics and prepare management reports
Assist in 1099 issuance and queries
Assist in various AP projects such as match exceptions resolution, EDI process improvements and other system related projects
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
BPO experience is critical as we outsource all our invoice processing to a 3rd party in India
3+ years experience working with oversees third party vendor handling A/P activities
Project management experience
System knowledge in SAP, online workflow systems like iPayables and Oracle
Supervisory experience
Must be able to work as a team, problem-solving, time management, adaptability, and resilience
Open to possible Bi-Yearly Trip to visit BPO in India
