Electro-Mechanical AssemblerWaterbury, CTSchedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMPay Rate: $18.00 - $18.50 per hourJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team in Waterbury, CT. In this role, you will assemble electro-mechanical products used in a variety of customer applications by following manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, blueprints, bills of materials, and other technical documents.The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or assembly experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to specificationsBuild final electrical, electronic, and mechanical assembliesRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, process sheets, and written instructionsPerform manual assembly operations using hand tools and measuring equipmentConduct product alignment and adjustments to ensure precise specifications are metInspect products throughout the assembly process to ensure quality standards are maintainedReport defects, production issues, or scrap material to leadership immediatelyExecute material handling procedures and maintain inventory floor stock as neededPrepare completed products for shipment or storageMaintain accurate production records and documentationFollow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environmentCross-train in additional assembly areas as neededPerform other related duties as assigned QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required1-3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentsStrong hand dexterity and attention to detailExperience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced production environment Additional RequirementsAbility to lift 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs consistentlyAbility to stand and/or sit for extended periods, up to 8 hours per dayGood visual acuity and manual dexterity requiredComfortable using tools and equipment such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, torque wrenches, oscilloscopes, and other measuring instrumentsMay be exposed to industrial cleaning chemicals and oils during daily operationsWe are looking for dependable and motivated individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work and contributing to a team-focused manufacturing environment.
