Part Analyst

Position: Parts AnalystLocation: South Bend, IN | 100% OnsiteAbout The Opportunity For a Parts AnalystJoin a highly visible project-focused role supporting profitability analysis across top-selling manufactured parts and their subcomponents.Work closely with internal leadership including the Cost Accountant, Controller, and Quoting Team to improve costing accuracy and pricing strategy.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong cost accounting and BOM analysis experience who enjoys investigative, analytical work and process improvement.Overview Of The Parts Analyst RoleAnalyze the profitability of the company’s top 200 products, including detailed review of subcomponents and bill of materials (BOMs).Compare quoted pricing, standard costing, and actual system costs to identify where margins are breaking down.Review outsourced processes and component-level costs (such as welding, galvanizing, and other production steps) to uncover pricing discrepancies.Track findings in Excel and collaborate with internal teams to support accurate re-costing and future repricing decisions.Preferred Qualifications For The Parts Analyst RolePrior experience in cost accounting, cost analysis, or manufacturing financeStrong exposure to BOMs (Bill of Materials) and component-level costing analysisExperience working in manufacturing environments with ERP systems such as Plex and quoting tools such as Paperless strongly preferredComfortable using Microsoft Excel for data entry, formatting, profitability calculations, and tracking part-level analysisSalary$75,000 – $95,000 annually100% onsite in South Bend, IN#INAPR2026Click here to apply online
