Flight Operations Specialist – InternationalA leading private aviation organization is seeking a Flight Operations Specialist – International to support complex global flight operations in a high-touch, fast-paced executive aviation environment. This role is heavily focused on international trip execution, permits, and real-time global coordination within a dynamic private aviation operation.The ideal candidate brings direct experience in international business aviation operations and thrives in a 24/7 environment supporting time-sensitive, high-complexity missions for long-range corporate aircraft.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate domestic and international flight operations for company aircraft in a Part 91 / 91K / fractional-style or equivalent high-complexity aviation environmentManage full international trip lifecycle, including:overflight and landing permitsdiplomatic and regulatory clearancesairport slots, curfews, and routing restrictionscustoms, immigration, and international handling coordinationPartner closely with flight crews on flight planning, routing, fuel planning, weather analysis, and operational decision-makingServe as a central coordination point between executives, flight crews, dispatch/ops teams, and global third-party providersManage real-time operational disruptions including weather, maintenance, ATC restrictions, and schedule changesCoordinate supplemental lift, including charter aircraft and contract crew when neededMaintain accurate flight, crew, and passenger data within scheduling and flight management systemsEnsure a seamless, high-touch passenger experience with discretion, urgency, and strong service orientationParticipate in a rotating schedule supporting after-hours and weekend operations as part of a 24/7 global support modelQualificationsExperience in corporate, private, or business aviation operations requiredStrong international flight operations experience required, including permits, diplomatic clearances, and global trip coordinationExperience supporting long-range and/or large-cabin aircraft operations (Gulfstream strongly preferred)Familiarity with FAA Part 91 / 91K and/or Part 135 operational environmentsExperience working directly with international handlers, FBOs, and trip support providersExposure to FAA, EASA, and/or CAA regulatory frameworks preferredProficiency with flight operations systems such as Avianis, BART, ForeFlight, Portside, or similar platformsFAA Dispatcher License a plus, but not required for candidates with strong hands-on operational experienceStrong operational judgment and ability to perform under pressure in time-sensitive environmentsExcellent communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders and time zonesHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and flexibility in a 24/7 operational environmentMust be based in or within commuting distance of Dallas, TX (no relocation provided)Preferred BackgroundsCandidates from high-complexity private aviation environments or similar corporate aviation flight departments are strongly encouraged to apply.
