Inventory Systems Manager

POSITION SUMMARY Seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Inventory & Fleet Manager to oversee the management of materials, tools, equipment, and company vehicles across all job sites and warehouses. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, timely procurement, proper storage, and safe, efficient fleet operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical and organizational skills, and can maintain accountability across multiple locations and assets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate records for all materials, tools, and equipment. Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory to job sites and departments. Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance. Develop and implement inventory tracking procedures to reduce loss or damage. Collaborate with project managers and procurement to forecast inventory needs. Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate timely delivery of materials. Train staff on proper inventory handling and documentation procedures. Prepare reports on inventory levels, usage, and discrepancies for leadership. Fleet Management: Oversee all company vehicles, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations. Ensure proper registration, insurance, and documentation for all vehicles. Track fleet usage, mileage, and fuel consumption to optimize efficiency. Coordinate repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. Train staff on proper vehicle use and safety procedures. Develop processes to manage fleet costs, reduce wear and tear, and extend vehicle life. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in inventory and/or fleet management, preferably in construction or facilities maintenance. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with inventory and fleet management software; experience with Field Point or similar systems is a plus. Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage staff and coordinate across teams. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
