Café Shift Leader - Dietary

Position Overview: This is full-time position working various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Full benefits are offered. Under the general direction of the Cafe Supervisor/Manager, you will perform a variety of duties related to the cash handling and customer service to staff and visitors. We are seeking a leader who will be able to supervise daily operations, support our cashier team, and assist with the café grill as needed. Pre-employment Requirements:We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required. Education Requirements:Validation of high school diploma or equivalent preferred, but will consider previous related work experience. Job Requirements:Mobile County Health Department Food Handlers card or Serve Safe Certification Previous cashier experience is required Previous grill cook experience is preferred Job duties include, but are not limited to:Follow cash handling procedures Assist Retail Supervisor in daily operations Lead and motivate staff to complete daily tasks Prepare daily cafe receipts for processing as well as reports Handle escalated customer service concerns Cross-train for other positions Equal Opportunity EmployerThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
