Machine Operator/Assembler

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong understanding of CAM programming, quality control processes, and precision measuring instruments. The Machine Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Operate industrial machinery and other manufacturing equipment to produce quality components. Perform set-up and preventative maintenance/troubleshooting on machinery. Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers. Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process. Utilize hand and power tools to assembly components. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. Document production processes and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or products. Qualifications Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with quality control procedures and materials handling techniques. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers effectively. Competence in using hand tools safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
