People Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.ResponsibilitiesPartner on recruiting operations as needed, including offer process coordination and hiring logisticsOwn day-to-day people operations across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, employee records, HR systems, policy administration, and documentationManage and improve people processes so they are efficient, compliant, and scalablePartner with leadership on org planning, headcount tracking, performance processes, and manager supportRun onboarding to ensure new hires ramp quickly and have a strong employee experienceAdminister compensation and benefits processes in partnership with finance and external vendorsMaintain employee data, reporting, and HRIS accuracySupport payroll inputs, audits, and coordination with payroll providers and finance teamsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements, especially for California employeesManage leave of absence, accommodations, employee relations issues, and sensitive people matters with judgment and discretionHelp shape and operationalize policies, handbooks, and internal people guidelinesDrive employee engagement initiatives, feedback cycles, and programs that improve retention and performanceServe as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on people-related questionsQualificationsBachelor's degree or relevant experience3+ years' experience in Human ResourcesStrong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategiesDemonstrated expertise training managers and employeesStrong organizational, critical thinking and communications skillsAttention to detail and good judgement
