BarbackCompany: Island Shrimp Co.Location: 4602 Millridge Parkway, Midlothian, Virginia 23112Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and efficient Contract Barback to support our bartending team and ensure smooth operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service skills.Key Responsibilities:Assist bartenders by restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including washing glassware and bar tools.Ensure the bar is well-stocked with ice, garnishes, straws, napkins, and other necessary items.Collect and remove trash and recycling from the bar area.Assist in opening and closing duties, such as setting up the bar for service and cleaning up after shifts.Provide support during peak hours by helping to serve drinks and manage customer needs.Perform other duties as assigned by the bar manager or head bartender.Skills and Qualifications:Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Team player with a positive attitude.Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is a plus.Must be of legal age to work in a bar environment.
