Make a difference for the world as part of a company leading the electric vehicle revolution.Position SummaryWe are seeking an Electrical Vehicle Assembler for Orange EV's facility in Kansas City, KSPosition ResponsibilitiesTear down and assembly of heavy-duty electric trucks by work instructionsEnsure the implementation of quality and safety proceduresIdentify and correct defects in product or workmanshipMaintain a clean and orderly work area.Position QualificationsBe excited about joining and helping build a young companyPrevious experience in automotive or electrical assembly line work (e.g. semi tractors, heavy equipment, farm equipment, terminal trucks)Strong mechanical aptitudeAbility to lift up to 75 lbs.Ability to read & understand engineering drawingsAbility to embrace new technologies and ideasStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdherence to policies and procedures (e.g., safety)Must be able to train on 1st shift regardless of shift.Key Traits: Can-do attitude; team-oriented; leadership, initiative, maturity, dedication, and punctuality.Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma required with 3+ years of experience in a related fieldPrefer at least an Associate's degree in Engineering or Mechanics with at least a year of related experience.Ideal Candidates Will Also HaveSpecialized training in engineering or mechanics (military or trade school)Welding (e.g., TIG, use of plasma cutter) and fabrication experienceElectrical wiring experience.Orange EV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and seeks diversity in candidates for employment.EEO Employer W/M/Vet/Disabled/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
