NDE Process Engineer

Our team members are motivated individuals that do remarkable things every day!Position Summary:AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Tukwila, WA that is a leading global aerospace company and top U.S. exporter, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries.Essential Function:Develops NDE procedures in support of airline customer maintenance inspectionsDesigns NDE reference standards in support of inspection proceduresDevelops engineering specifications and other documents to meet customer needsAssists in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to business needsAssists with development and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirementsPerforms routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers to applicable requirementsAssists in implementing corrective and preventive actionsUses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirementsIncorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into (1) materials and processes, (2) research, design and qualification, (3) work procedures and (4) labs and office areasRequirements: Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry1+ years of engineering experiencePreferred Skills:Experience with CAD systems such as CATIA, SolidworksExperience with NDI systems: ultrasonics, eddy currentExperience in aviation and/or aerospaceExperience working in multidisciplinary teamsExcellent communication skillsExcellent skills with various computing systemsExcellent documentation and technical writing skillsExcellent time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locationsKnowledge of materials science with metals and/or composites
