Generative AI Engineer

Oxford Solutions is working with a client to hire an experienced AI Engineer for a hybrid, direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist who thrives in fast-evolving environments and wants to help build AI-driven solutions from the ground up.This position focuses on full-stack AI application development, including the data application layer and AI integration layer. The selected candidate will work extensively with enterprise generative AI platforms, training and tuning LLMs using internal data and code, and deploying scalable AI-powered solutions into production environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign and build full-stack AI solutions integrating data, application, and AI layersTrain and fine-tune large language models using proprietary datasets and structured code frameworksDevelop and deploy generative AI solutions in enterprise environmentsArchitect and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutionsIntegrate AI capabilities into backend systems using APIs and microservicesWork with vector databases, knowledge graphs, and modern data architecturesBuild and maintain production-grade AI systems using MLOps best practicesImplement CI/CD pipelines for AI model lifecycle management and deploymentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI systemsContinuously evaluate emerging AI tools and frameworks in a rapidly changing landscapeRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)10+ years of overall experience in software engineering, data science, or related technical roles1-2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying generative AI solutions in enterprise settingsStrong backend development experience using AI-driven algorithmsProficiency in Python, Java, Shell scripting, Linux, or Node.jsExperience with MCP, APIs, data structures, and distributed systemsPractical experience with AWS Bedrock and Copilot Studio (required)Experience with GitHub Agents, Snowflake agents, or similar AI development platformsKnowledge of vector databases and knowledge graph implementationsSolid understanding of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model lifecycle managementExperience deploying production-ready AI systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience with API integrations across enterprise platformsIndustry certifications related to AI, AWS, or cloud architecture (or eligibility to obtain)AI Engineer – Full Stack & Generative AI (AWS Bedrock / Copilot Studio) - 26-00128
