Make a meaningful impact as a CTP Claims Consultant, managing end-to-end case management for our ACT customers who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents. This includes the end-to-end management of both Defined Benefits (DB) and Common Law (CL) claims. You'll guide each claim from lodgement through to resolution, supporting injured individuals throughout their recovery journey. Using strong communication, empathy and sound decision-making, you'll apply relevant legislation, interpret information, and work with providers and stakeholders to help customers return to health or work safely and efficiently. With a focus on quality, customer experience and compliance, you'll balance compassion with clear judgement to deliver fair and effective outcomes.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).
What You'll Do
Manage end-to-end case management of CTP injury claims, including Defined Benefits (DB) and Common Law (CL) claims from lodgement through to finalisation
Apply legislation, guidelines and internal processes to make informed, timely and fair claim decisions
Communicate with customers, providers and stakeholders to support recovery and return-to-work outcomes
Gather, review and maintain accurate claim documentation to meet compliance and quality standards
Identify risks, escalate complex or litigated matters, and implement appropriate strategies
Provide empathetic, proactive support to injured customers throughout their recovery journey
What You'll Bring
Strong customer service skills with the ability to show empathy and support people experiencing injury
Confident communicator who can handle difficult conversations and diffuse conflict
High resilience and emotional intelligence when managing sensitive or complex situations
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and sound decision-making
Ability to interpret information, apply legislation and manage multiple tasks effectively
Tech-savvy with the confidence to troubleshoot systems and navigate digital tools
Desirable: Experience in CTP or Workers' Compensation claims management
