Cyber Cloud Analyst
Overview Remote: Eligible Locations: AL, AZ, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MS, NV, NJ, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA
Clearance: IT-II – Non-critical Sensitive (Secret)
Responsibilities Ensures the architecture and design of cloud-hosted IT systems are secure and meet DOD requirements.
Reviews Cloud security policy and provides recommendations for improvement to enhance the security posture within the cloud as well as the ability to meet protection, detection, monitoring and response requirements for systems and data.
Works closely with Cyber Intelligence analysts and Incident Response analysts to ensure expert analysis and reporting of cloud-based cybersecurity threats and attacks.
Provides support to content developers and cybersecurity engineers in identifying gaps in protection and detection of cloud-based systems. Collects and maintains awareness of current cybersecurity threats to cloud environments and provides actionable reporting and briefings.
Minimum Requirements
Three (3) years of cybersecurity experience
Three (3) years of experience in IT administration or cybersecurity within a cloud environment
Understanding of the NIST cybersecurity framework
Working knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework
Understanding ofbasic network concepts
Experienced with various cloud deployments (PAAS, IAAS, SAAS)
Must possess a cloud-based certification equivalent to one of the following :
Google Cloud Certified Cloud Security Engineer
Microsoft CertifiedAzure Security Engineer Associate
AWS Certified Security Specialty
Salary Range: $105,000- $120,000, contingent upon experience and education.
