Lead Heavy Equipment Field Technician – Construction TechLocation and Territory - Texas-based Travel across the U.S. (up to 80%)Start Date - ImmediateAbout the CompanyWe’re working with a growing construction technology business that installs and supports advanced systems on heavy equipment – things like machine control, GPS guidance, sensors, and automation tools used on job sites across the U.S.They’re scaling quickly and need more people on the ground to support live projects.Role OverviewIf you’re someone who knows their way around hydraulics, electrics, and heavy kit - and you’d rather be out on-site than in a shop, this role puts you right in the middle of it. You’ll be travelling to customer sites setting up and fixing machine control, guidance systems, sensors, and other tech that’s driving automation across construction equipment.Where you will make a differenceInstalling and troubleshooting systems on heavy equipment (excavators, etc.)Working with hydraulics, electrical systems, GPS, and sensorsTravelling to job sites across the U.S.Provide hands-on support and training to operators, making sure they get the best out of our solutions.Diagnosing issues and fixing problems in real timeShare observations and issues with team to collectively resolve difficult problems.Communicate and catalog detailed records of service visits.If you like being out in the field and working on the tools, this is that kind of role.Under the supervision of the Product Support Manager, lead and mentor a focused team of 3-5 employees.Who you areAt least 3-5 years of management experienceExperience working on heavy equipment / construction equipmentStrong mechanical + hydraulic + electrical troubleshootingComfortable being in the field and travelling regularlyHands-on experience working with heavy machinery or similar equipment.Willing to travel and work on the field frequently across the U.S. (up to 80%)Able to work independently on remote job sitesValid driver’s license and a clean driving record.Nice to have (not essential):Experience with machine control, GPS, Trimble, Leica, Topcon, sensorsCompensation & SetupGuarenteed 40-hour week (average hours above 60)Overtime availableWeekend stipendsAll travel covered (flights, hotels, meals)Company card providedFull medical, dental, and visionWhy It’s Worth a LookProper field-based role – not stuck in a shop or officeExposure to modern construction technology and automation systemsA dynamic, challenging role where no two days are the same - perfect for those who love variety and problem-solving.
