The platform has built and scaled some of the most recognized names in beauty, wellness, and personal care, and is entering a phase of accelerated portfolio growth and operational complexity.\This is a seat with real ownership. The role goes well beyond standard close and reporting. The VP Corporate Controller will serve as the operating backbone of the accounting organization, partnering directly with the CFO on the systems, controls, and infrastructure that have to scale alongside a growing multi-brand portfolio.About the Role The VP Corporate Controller will own the accounting function across multiple brand entities, with full responsibility for close, consolidation, reporting, and controls. The work sits at the intersection of accounting discipline and operational scale, translating clean financials into a foundation the business can grow on.The platform is moving fast. Accounting is expected to keep pace, anticipate complexity, and bring a builder's instinct to systems, processes, and team design. The right person is equally comfortable owning the close and architecting what the function should look like 18 months from now.What You Will OwnFull month-end and quarter-end close across multiple brand entitiesFinancial reporting, consolidation, and inter-company accountingInternal controls design and GAAP complianceERP and systems optimization, NetSuite strongly preferred, as the portfolio scalesAP, AR, and general ledger operationsAudit preparation and external auditor relationshipsCross-functional partnership with brand, ops, and finance leadership on reporting and process improvementsProcess design and automation that scale alongside the businessHiring, mentoring, and building out the accounting team over timeWho We Are Looking For An accounting leader with a track record of operating in fast moving, multi-entity environments. Strong candidates will bring:7+ years of progressive accounting experienceCPA requiredBig 4 or national public accounting foundation requiredDirect experience leading full-cycle close in a multi-entity environmentHands-on ERP and systems experience, NetSuite strongly preferredComfort in build-stage environments where the mandate is improving processes, not maintaining themA communicator who translates financials into business context for non-finance partnersSharp business judgment paired with operational rigorA background in CPG, beauty, wellness, personal care, or DTC consumer is highly relevant but not a hard requirement. Multi-entity fluency, systems depth, and operating capability are the primary filters.Why This Seat Matters Accounting here is treated as scaling infrastructure, not a back office function.
