Maintenance Supervisor - Tipp City, OH

This is WITRONJoin WITRON as a Maintenance Team Lead!  The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for ensuring daily maintenance activities are completed through effective leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving. Acting as a front-line manager, the Team Lead will provide direct instruction and guidance to electromechanical technicians and collaborate with Production, Onsite IT, and external partners to ensure system up-time.The range for this role is between $75k - $82kPrimary ResponsibilitiesConduct all actions with and inspire among all colleagues a Safety-First mindset Promote compliance with all relevant company policies and government regulations including OSHA Lead by example through results-focused, people-centered direction, feedback, and coaching Serve as first point of contact for all employee relations and maintenance issues Execute on planned, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance activities under direction of Maintenance Manager Develop effective processes to maintain system performance through shift changes, high volume periods, and irregular operations in conjunction with other stakeholders Maintain open and transparent relationships with customer and other vendor contacts to ensure maximum system performance Ensure maintenance process consistency and employee development through the design and execution of uniform training and assessment programs Follow established escalation guidelines in the event of system downtime or irregular operations Manage employee schedules and daily work assignments in conjunction with other stakeholders Leverage detailed reporting to understand system performance and implement continuous improvement projects around preventive maintenance and system enhancements Coordinate with Production Team to ensure minimal system impact in the execution of planned, preventive, and ad hoc maintenance activities Participate and lead (as necessary) team, site, and customer meetings to ensure open, effective communications centered on collaborative efforts to meet production goals Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesAbility to coordinate and supervise a team of Electro-Mechanical technicians Strong understanding of automated material handling systems Robust experience with 480 VAC, PLC control systems, and electromechanical systems Practical attitude and ability to learn new skills and tasks Strong communication skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Able to prioritize multiple tasks and workload Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Knowledge of OSHA Safety guidelines Required: High school diploma with 1-3 years' experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a fast-paced warehouse, light industry, or related environment Preferred: Associates degree in a relevant subject with 3-5 years' experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a fast-paced warehouse, light industry, or related environment Familiarity with automated material handling systems strongly preferred Physical RequirementsAbility to work at heights of 80-100 feet Ability to adapt to a warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from +34 degrees to -15 degrees Ability to lift and carry materials/equipment necessary to do the job Ability to walk/stand during a designated shift Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 pounds  BenefitsStability - WITRON offers competitive wage and excellent benefit package which includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, STD, and LTD plans along with a company-sponsored 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions and a profit-sharing program Work/Life Balance - Employees have access to a generous paid time off policy, company-paid holidays, and special leave days related to certain life events Growth Potential - As part of WITRON's commitment to promoting from within, individual developmental opportunities are made available through comprehensive on the job training and a tuition reimbursement program A Place You Want to Work - WITRON's corporate philosophy is characterized by an open-door policy, an environment of trust and empowerment, and a sincere appreciation shown to all colleagues  Join WITRON and be part of a team that's shaping the future of automation logistics!
