We don’t micro-manage; instead, we trust our team members to leverage their strengths, collaborate closely, and grow professionally. Role DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Structural Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Austin team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. In this role, you will work directly alongside seasoned professional engineers, supporting the structural design process from initial concept through construction administration.This is an incredible opportunity to gain comprehensive, hands-on experience across a diverse portfolio of project types while earning the credit hours needed for your P.E. license.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Analysis: Assist in structural design, perform load calculations, and conduct structural analyses for various building systems.Documentation: Utilize Revit to generate precise structural construction drawings, details, and models.Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal teams, architects, contractors, and consultants to balance architectural intent with constructibility.Project Support: Support the design process through all phases, ensuring project goals, budgets, and engineering codes are met.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a strong focus/foundation in Structural Engineering.Certification: EIT certification preferred (or the clear ability to obtain it within six months of hire).Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit is required, along with exposure to industry-standard structural analysis software.Core Competencies: Excellent problem-solving skills, rigorous attention to detail, and strong communication/collaboration habits.Knowledge Base: Exposure to building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC) is a strong plus.What We Offer (Benefits & Culture)We align our compensation and benefits packages with modern benchmarks to support your career and well-being:Workplace Flexibility: A true "hybrid" schedule blending remote work-from-home flexibility with collaborative, in-office team days.Paid Time Off: 120 hours of accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) annually, plus 9 paid company holidays.Health & Wellness: 100% employer-paid health, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance for the employee.Retirement: 401(k) plan with a generous firm match program (75% match up to 6% of your gross income).Professional Growth: 100% reimbursement for professional engineering license renewals and professional organization membership dues.To ApplyIf you are ready to take the next step in your engineering career with a firm that values your growth and autonomy, we want to hear from you!
