Experienced Technicians Only - 5+ Years Experience RequiredThis is NOT an Entry-Level PositionOnly applicants with prior fire alarm or security installation experience will be considered.We are seeking a licensed and experienced Fire Alarm Security Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, program, and integrate security cameras, intrusion detection, fire alarms, and access control systems while ensuring reliable performance and compliance with industry standards.This is NOT an entry-level position. Our technicians work on meaningful projects that directly impact safety and security.Responsibilities:As an experienced technician, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and integrating multiple life safety and security systems, including:Program and commission IP-based camera systemsProgram and activate intrusion detection systemsInstall, update, and troubleshoot fire alarm panels, devices, and componentsConfigure and activate access control systemsPull, terminate, label, and test data and fiber optic cablingIntegrate fire alarm, surveillance, intrusion, and access control systems into customer networksTest and verify system functionality to ensure compliance with NFPA standardsDiagnose and resolve system issues in the fieldQualifications:Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience installing or servicing fire alarm and/or electronic security systemsActive Texas Fire Alarm or Security license (required)Strong understanding of NFPA codes and standardsExperience working with IP-based devices and networked systemsAbility to program and troubleshoot fire alarm, camera, intrusion, and access control systemsMust meet background requirements outlined by the Texas Department of Public Safety – Private Security ProgramAbout Company:We offer competitive pay, comprehensive training, opportunities for advancement, and a full benefits package.If you're ready to build a career with a respected name in life safety, apply today and join a team that takes pride in doing things right.
