Senior Process Engineer

HiFyve is hiring a Senior Processing Engineer in the Manufacturing industry!Salary: $95-120/yrShift: Day Shift 8 am to 5 pm M-FLocation: Eagan, MNOverview:A well-established manufacturer is seeking a Senior Processing Engineer to support formulation development, scale-up, and process optimization. This role bridges R&D chemistry, process engineering, and manufacturing, ensuring smooth technology transfer and successful production of cosmetic and OTC formulations.Key Responsibilities:Lead technical transfer of formulas from bench scale to full production.Support pilot batches, scale-up trials, and troubleshoot processing issues.Collaborate with formulation chemists and manufacturing teams on ingredient behavior, alternate raw materials, and process improvements.Conduct research on new processing methods, ingredients, and formulation technologies.Serve as a technical liaison across Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Operations, and suppliers.Develop best practices, technical documentation, and support innovation projects.Qualifications:MS or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.3+ years in cosmetic or OTC R&D, formulation development, or process support.Strong knowledge of emulsions, pigment dispersion, and mineral activities.Hands-on experience with technical transfer, scale-up, and GMP manufacturing.Familiarity with FDA regulations, cGMP, and lab-scale processing equipment.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Preferred:Experience with SPF formulations and mineral UV filters.Knowledge of global cosmetic and OTC regulatory requirements.
