OTR Semi-Truck Driver

The OTR Semi-Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances using heavy-duty trucks, such as tractor-trailers or 18-wheelers. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations, schedules, and federal transportation laws, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring cargo is delivered on time and in good condition. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesTransport countertops to multiple stops including DC’s, service centers and home delivery customers safely and efficientlyLoad, unload and secure freight and verify load accuracy against packing list and BOLFollow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety proceduresComplete required logs, delivery paperwork, and documentation accuratelyConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment and compliance Communicate effectively with outside customers, warehouse and office staffQualificationsValid CDL Class A licenseAbility to meet DOT physical and driving requirementsClean MVR1 year tractor/trailer experienceStrong Safety awareness and attention to detailDependable attendance and strong work ethicOTR and city drivingRequirementsProfessionally represents Hartson-KennedyFlexible work schedule and/or overtime as needed (Monday-Friday)Available for occasional overnight runs (including over weekends)Ability to lift 125 lbsMust pass a background and drug test What we offerCompetitive hourly payOvertime paid after 40 hours per weekHome time – nightly, weekly and weekendsWeekly pay and direct depositCompany uniforms providedYearly stipend for steel toes boots/shoesOperate a leased tractor (6 years old or newer)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
