Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Project Technical Leadership or formal Management experience throughout the engineering life cycle. Demonstrated experience in high-reliability electronics hardware development and/or test experience. Demonstrated experience with electronics products sustainment, production or development.Job DescriptionCome join our amazing people on the THAAD program as an Electronics Engineering Manager, leading a diverse team in fielding a highly mobile defense system providing the critical capability to shoot a missile with a missile enabling the U.S. military to effectively and reliably defend the U.S. and allied assets around the world.IKey Activities You Will Accomplish In This Role Leadership of the interceptor avionics electronics engineering team, encompassing guidance/navigation/control (GN&C) products and subsystems. Ensuring Manufacturing support and troubleshooting that supports program schedules. Experience and expertise with full product life cycle. Knowledge of the definition, interpretation, and implementation of design requirements, coordination and execution of hardware designs, development and integration of hardware in accordance with all Lockheed Martin Space engineering process specifications. Interface with organizations across the enterprise including planning, manufacturing, and test engineering to ensure the delivery of products.To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Need You will typically have 10+ years of professional experience for this role. If selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Previous experience in a management role with direct reports.
