About the FirmWe are a growing family law firm in Orange County with offices in Irvine and Rancho Santa Margarita. Our clients range from professionals and business owners to high-net-worth individuals. We handle the full spectrum of family law matters, including complex asset division, custody disputes, support, and dissolutions at every level of complexity.About the RoleYou will work on a variety of cases with one-on-one mentorship from the firm's principal, with increasing responsibility as you develop. Day to day, you will:Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and judgmentsHandle written discovery and depositionsMake court appearances and argue motionsCommunicate with clients and opposing counselManage cases from intake through resolution with paralegal supportWork on matters ranging from straightforward dissolutions to complex financial and custody casesWhat We RequireJuris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive California State Bar membership in good standingCalifornia litigation experience (family law strongly preferred, but we will consider attorneys with civil litigation backgrounds who want to build a career in family law)What We PreferExperience with contested custody mattersFamiliarity with complex asset division (RSUs, business valuations, cryptocurrency)Existing family law caseload or professional networkCompensationBase salary: $120,000 to $220,000 based on experience5% origination bonus on all fees collected from clients you bring in (continues for the lifetime of the case, even if you leave the firm)Health, vision, and dental insuranceRetirement plan contributionsRegular market-based compensation adjustmentsWork EnvironmentThis position is based in our Rancho Santa Margarita office (30211 Avenida de las Banderas, Suite 200, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688), where you will work alongside the firm's principal.
