The ideal candidate will being a strong foundation in electrical products along with practical problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. Highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of translating complex technical requirements into clear, standardized solutions that support both execution and growth.About the RoleThe Technology & Product Development Manager is responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy, safety, and performance of prefabricated electrical solutions used in mission-critical and data center environments. This role serves as the internal technical authority, validating product configurations, supporting project requirements, and driving the development of standardized, scalable product solutions.Compensation: $100,000 - 130,000 based on experienceKey Responsibilities:Act as the technical expert to ensure all products and configurations are accurate, safe, and aligned with customer requirementsReview customer specifications and RFQs to validate proper application and identify risks or gaps earlyEstablish and maintain product standards, including configuration rules, documentation, and quality expectationsPartner cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and operations to ensure technical and commercial alignmentEvaluate supplier quotes for completeness and accuracy, including all required components and optionsManage technical deviations, substitutions, and exceptions to ensure performance and reliability are not compromisedOversee submittal package quality to reduce resubmittals and support project timelinesMonitor industry trends and translate insights into new product development opportunitiesSupport innovation efforts from concept through standardization and launchTrain internal teams on product standards and technical requirementsRequired Qualifications:Strong technical experience with electrical systems in data center or mission-critical environmentsProven ability to interpret requirements, validate configurations, and ensure safe application of productsExperience working cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and operations or manufacturing teamsStrong attention to detail with a high level of documentation disciplinePreferred Qualifications:Experience with prefabricated electrical assemblies or manufacturing processesFamiliarity with mission-critical environments, including strict documentation and quality expectationsExperience developing standardized products, configuration rules, or scalable technical frameworksBenefits:At USESI, we believe that our benefits should make a difference-to you, your job, and the life you lead outside of work.
