Construction Estimator (Entry Level) – Iowa CityWalsh Door + Security is seeking an Entry-Level Estimator to be a part of the team at our Iowa City location. We are one of the nation's leading providers of premium commercial door, frame, hardware and electronic security products, and services, and partner with national and regional General Contractors and Commercial Customers. Walsh is family-owned, 160+ years old, and specializes in Data Centers, Healthcare, Military, K-12 Education, Universities, and School Safety. Walsh Door + Security is a growing company with 200+ employees and three locations – Des Moines, Iowa City and Kansas City. This opportunity is a full-time, added position.Analyze blueprints, specifications, and contract requirements to prepare accurate estimates for commercial doors, frames, and hardware.Use estimating software to price material and labor for projects based on blueprints and specifications.Bachelor's degree preferred.~ AutoCAD or Revit software experience is helpful but not required.~ Mechanical aptitude.~ Must be able to handle multiple projects under a deadline.~ Health Insurance – Highly competitive, quality health insurance for single or family coverage options available with full-time positions.
