This opportunity is perfect for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) looking for a dynamic contract position. You’ll begin on a part-time basis (.5 FTE) through early November, then transition to a full-time schedule from November 9th through April 26th. Key Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active state licensure (or eligibility) for speech pathology Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Adaptability for both part-time and full-time roles within the contract Primary Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of speech and language disorders among K-12 students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Maintain detailed and compliant records and progress reports Provide both group and individual therapy sessions according to student needs Engage in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the school’s support team This contract position is onsite, offering a unique chance to foster growth and communication skills in students while gaining valuable school-based experience. The initial commitment is half-time until November, transitioning to full-time through the majority of the academic year. Additional opportunities may arise as the school year progresses.
