Elementary and Secondary SchoolsColleges, Universities, and Professional SchoolsEducational Support ServicesBusiness Schools and Computer and Management TrainingOther Schools and InstructionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Learning Management and Training Development:Administer, manage, and optimize the company's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring training records, course structures, assignments, and reporting meet organizational and compliance needs.Design, develop, and refine training content, modules, and curricula for internal associates, contractors, and specialized operational teams.Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce high-quality training materials—eLearning, videos, assessments, instructor-led modules, and hybrid content.Evaluate training effectiveness using data-based insights to ensure continuous improvement.Associate Career Pathing & Workforce Development:Design and maintain comprehensive career pathing frameworks for all major job families within the company, ensuring transparent and achievable advancement opportunities.Build and oversee a cross-training platform that allows associates to gain skills and experience across multiple departments.Establish career pathing and ongoing training programs for senior leadership roles.Lead the development and refinement of a Manager-in-Training (MIT) program designed to prepare internal talent for entry-level leadership positions.Partner with HR and department leaders to forecast training needs based on workforce planning requirements.Contractor Development ProgramsOversee the Delivery Ambassador Program, ensuring consistent auditing, evaluation, and coaching of contractor delivery teams and departments as assigned.Lead all aspects of the contractor lifecycle including:Contractor onboardingContractor skills refinementRoad test coordination and complianceContractor retention initiatives and KPI managementEnsure contractor-facing training programs align with company quality, legal, safety, and operational standards.Commercial Driver & Safety TrainingOversee commercial driver onboarding, capability development, and skill growth programs.Work with Safety and Compliance leadership to refine, standardize, and maintain commercial driver training protocols and documentation.Collaborate with Safety leadership to ensure all OSHA and FMCSA-related training is compliant, accurately documented, and efficiently delivered.Maintain recordkeeping within regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Oversee CDL school partnershipsLeadership & Cross-Functional CollaborationLead and mentor a team of department leadership for the training and development, contractor onboarding, contractor recruiting, delivery ambassadors, and special programs departments.Partner closely with Operations, HR, Safety, and Recruiting leaders to align training strategies with organizational goals.Develop training-related KPIs and provide regular reports to senior leadership.Manage vendor and external training partnerships, including CDL schools and eLearning providers.Employment StandardsKnowledgeStrong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and workforce development methodologies.Demonstrated knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), including administration, configuration, and content deployment.FMCSA, OSHA and Commercial driving compliance requirements are a plus.Microsoft program proficiency including Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.EducationBachelor's degree in business management, Workforce Training & Development, Education, or a related discipline.Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in training and development, workforce development, learning design, or a similar field.Minimum 2 years of high-level leadership experience managing training teams or large-scale learning programs.Extensive experience administering, managing, and optimizing Learning Management Systems (LMS), including course architecture, user management, reporting, and compliance tracking.Experience developing training content and leading large-scale program rollouts.
