Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

Senior Manager, Financial Planning, Analysis (FP&A) The Senior Manager, FP&A provides strategic financial leadership and decision support to executive and senior business leaders. This role owns financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis for assigned business units and/or enterprise functions, while also contributing to company‑wide FP&A processes, long‑range planning, and executive reporting.This position serves as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, translating complex financial data into clear insights that drive operating and strategic decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Finance & Business PartnershipServe as the primary finance partner to senior business and functional leaders, providing insight on performance, risks, and opportunitiesInfluence decision‑making through scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and return‑based prioritizationSupport strategic initiatives including growth investments, restructuring, pricing, and M&A activityPlanning, Forecasting & Performance ManagementLead annual operating plan, rolling forecast, and long‑range planning processes for assigned areasOwn financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and key assumptionsDrive disciplined performance management through variance analysis, KPI reporting, and actionable insightsExecutive & Board SupportPrepare materials for Executive Leadership Team, CFO, and Board‑level discussionsClearly communicate financial implications, trade‑offs, and recommendations to senior audiencesLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop FP&A managers and analysts; set clear expectations and accountabilityEstablish best practices, storytelling, and analytical excellencePartner with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and IT to ensure alignment and data integrityProcess, Systems & AnalyticsDrive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reportingLeverage planning and analytics platforms (e.g., Oracle EPM) to improve forecast accuracy and efficiencyChampion automation, standardization, and scalable reportingKey CompetenciesStrategic thinking and executive presenceStrong business judgment and financial acumenAbility to synthesize complex information into clear narrativesCollaborative, results‑oriented leadership styleProcess improvement and automation mindsetBasic QualificationsBS Accounting/Finance8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or AccountingExperience presenting to senior managementExperience developing strategic business plansPreferred QualificationsCPA and/or MBAExperience with Oracle EPM and SAPExperience with acquisition integrationExperience working for a large multi-national accounting firm or public company
