Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Milledgeville, GA

Deliver expert nursing care in a dynamic Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital located in Milledgeville, GA. This contract opportunity involves working on a 20-bed MedSurg/Tele unit where you will manage a diverse patient population recovering from strokes, brain injuries, post-operative procedures, and chronic or acute conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, CHF, and infections. With a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6, you'll apply your clinical assessment and med-surg skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Responsibilities include proficient management of tracheostomies, chest tubes, IV therapy including insulin and heparin drips, cardiac telemetry monitoring, wound care, and discharge planning with a focus on renal and fluid management education.
