Warehouse OperatorThe Warehouse Operator, under moderate supervision, picks and prepares orders for shipping using Radio Frequency (RF) device, loads and unloads trucks, and adheres to warehouse standard operating procedures and safety protocols.Essential Job Functions:Load and unload carrier vehicles receiving/delivering goods and materials for the warehouse, ensuring correct item counts per supplier packing list and BOLOperate forklift in multi-level racking systemCustomer order processing using RF device: pick, palletize and shrink wrap items for shipping using proper procedures for weight and hazardsLocate product in storage areas per RF deviceCondense and maintain product in a neat and orderly fashionMaintain safety awareness in and around work areas, observe and report potential areas of concernEducation/Special Licenses or Certification:High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience:Sit down forklift experienceWarehouse/shipping experience in manufacturing environmentRF scanning device knowledge preferred but not necessarySkills:Strong ability to read and comprehend EnglishManual dexterityAbility to multitaskKnowledge of basic mathematicsAbility to problem solveCompetencies:Detail orientedAction orientedCritical thinkingProduct knowledgeTechnical skillsDrive for resultsEffective communication (verbal & written)Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
