Our teams work in occupied homes and take pride in delivering detailed, finished work that meets high standards.Position SummaryThe Lead Finished Carpenter is responsible for performing high-quality finish carpentry work while leading jobsite execution on residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects. This role combines hands-on craftsmanship with field leadership, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.Skills & ResponsibilitiesLead daily jobsite activities and coordinate work sequencing with other tradesTake full ownership of assigned projects from start to finish carpentry through final completionBe accountable for the quality, pace, organization, and final presentation of the jobsiteDrive projects forward and anticipate sequencing or installation challenges before they become issuesInstall finish carpentry components, including cabinets, vanities, trim, molding, doors, and hardwareScribe and fit cabinetry and trim to walls, floors, and tile surfaces for a clean, finished appearanceFrame and finish non-structural elements such as soffits, bulkheads, and access panelsCoordinate finish work around tile, stone, glass, and plumbing fixtures without damaging completed surfacesRead and interpret drawings, scopes of work, and installation specificationsLead by example in professionalism, craftsmanship, safety, and respect for the client’s homeCommunicate clearly and proactively with homeowners, project managers, and team membersIdentify solutions in the field and communicate next steps, not just problemsEnsure punch-list completion and final detail work reflect company standards without requiring constant oversightMaintain clean, safe, and organized job sites in occupied homesQualifications5+ years of residential finish carpentry experience (kitchen and bath preferred)Prior experience leading or mentoring other carpenters or apprenticesStrong knowledge of finish carpentry tools, materials, and techniquesAbility to manage time, sequencing, and jobsite workflowclose attention to detail and pride in craftsmanshipReliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
