Applicants must be employed by a high school or Independent School Districts that has an existing partnership with Dallas College. The Dual Credit Credentialed Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, college-level course content to high school students seeking dual credit. This role bridges the gap between high school and college by providing students with the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. The instructor must have the necessary credentials to teach college-level courses and should be committed to helping students succeed academically. Key Responsibilities:Course Instruction:Teach college-level courses in a high school setting, ensuring that the curriculum aligns with college standards. Facilitate engaging and interactive classroom activities that foster critical thinking and academic growth. Adopt innovative teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of high school students. Curriculum Development:Develop and update course materials and syllabi in accordance with college standards and guidelines. Collaborate with Dallas College academic leadership and college faculty to ensure course content is relevant, up to date, and aligns with the Dallas College course learning outcomes. Student Support:Provide guidance and support to dual credit students in their academic endeavors, including college application and course selection advice.
