Our team of professionals have been helping and supporting business for over 18 years and take great pride in building deep meaningful relationships with our clients.Position Summary:In this role, you will be responsible for providing services to small to mid-sized clients, building and strengthening those client relationships. Your primary tasks will include handling accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, accounting for fixed assets and loans, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts. Additionally, you will coordinate payroll processes, reconcile payroll on the books to payroll tax filings, and ensure vendor information is collected for year-end Form 1099 production. You will also be responsible for the input of complex transactions. Effective communication with clients and providing information for management review are essential components of this role.RequirementsResponsibilities Include:Utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop for clientsHandle accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivableAccount for fixed assets and loansReconcile bank and credit card accountsCoordinate payroll processes and reconcile payroll on the books to payroll tax filingsCollect vendor information, including Form W9, to enable the production of Form 1099 at year-endInput complex transactions accuratelyAccurately invoice customersMaintain internal controls and fraud preventionCommunicate effectively across departments within HR WiseProvide information for review by managementWork diligently to meet deadlinesObtain primary financial data for accounting recordsCompute and record numerical dataCheck the accuracy of business transactionsPerform data entry and administrative dutiesOther duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills:Experience with QuickBooks: Proficiency in both QuickBooks Online and DesktopExperience with Payroll Platforms: ADP, Paylocity, Paychex, and other payroll platformsFundamental Knowledge of GAAP: Comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principlesPersonality: A highly positive and upbeat personalityInterpersonal Skills: Ability to work with a variety of personalities at all levels throughout an organizationCommunication: Exceptional oral and written communication skillsOrganizational Skills: Excellent administrative, organizational, attention to detail, time management, and follow-through skillsTechnical Proficiency: Expertise with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel and Word, and email platformsAdaptability: Success in a high-growth environment and ability to adapt to change Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business or related fieldCertification in Accounting or BookkeepingCertification in QuickBooks Experience:At least 3 years of solid bookkeeping experience with AR, AP, and reconciliation.Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields Language:Fluent in Spanish (Preferred)
