Contract And Compliance Administrator
We are adding to our No Fault team, based out of our Baton Rouge, LA office. A successful Contract Administrator will demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to discover potential risks for our company. The candidate should also analyze contracts, compliance documents, and licenses with an eye toward reducing costs and increasing profits, while ensuring compliance with the law. Our ideal candidate has previous experience managing contracts and is familiar with legal requirements and terms of use.
Work Location: In Office, Baton Rouge, LA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
1. DEVELOP CONTRACT PROPOSALS TO SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS.
2. REVIEW CONTRACT ESTIMATES INCLUDING PROPOSED MATERIALS, PRODUCTION COSTS, ETC. AND DETERMINE WHETHER THEY SEEM REASONABLE AND ACCURATE.
3. ENSURE THAT ALL RECORDS ARE ACCURATE AND UP TO DATE.
4. WRITE CONTRACT LETTERS AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS AND NOTICES.
5. NEGOTIATE AND APPROVAL CONTRACT TERMS WHILE ENSURING THAT PROJECTS REMAIN WITHIN THE ESTABLISHED BUDGET.
6. ATTEND MEETINGS TO ASSESS PROGRESS ON PROJECTS WHICH ARE IN MOTION, AND TAKEDETAILED NOTES TO SHARE WITH STAKEHOLDERS.
7. CREATE REGULAR STATUS REPORTS REGARDING PROGRESS ON PROJECTS.
8. ANALYZE CONTRACTS, COMPLIANCE AND DOCUMENTS TO ENSURE THEY COMPLY WITH STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS.
9. MAINTAIN ALL OF THE ORGANIZATIONS LICENSES.
10. FOLLOW ALL COMPANY RULES, PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS
11. MAINTAINS COMPLIANCE TO ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD
by
complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
12. MAINTAINS SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
by
complying with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
13. PERFORM ANY ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUESTED.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 3+ years prior experience in a contract administration role or a related field
Exemplifies knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance
Has strong negotiation and mediation skills
Possesses superior attention to detail in order to spot inconsistencies in contracts
Has previous experience in customer service and strong communication skills
Able to work productively independently and as part of a team
Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
Previous experience as a project manager, or coordinating large projects is an asset
Should exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
