Asbestos Inspector/Investigator

Job Description AIM Environmental LLC is seeking candidates possessing experience in conducting building surveys/inspections for asbestos, lead-based paint and mold.We are potentially looking to hire multiple people for this position including more entry level candidates with minimal licensing/certifications and fundamental building survey experience, as well as more experienced candidates possessing extensive experience and certifications in the industry.Responsibilities Will IncludeReviewing project specifications and drawingsConducting site surveysCollecting bulk samplesCompiling information gathered during field inspections into comprehensive reports of findingsQualifications 1-3 years experience in conducting hazardous building material surveys NYSDOL Asbestos Inspector License NYCDEP Asbestos Investigator (preferred) USEPA Lead-Based Paint Inspector/Risk Assessor (preferred) NYSDOL Mold Assessor (preferred) Experience with AutoCAD drafting software (preferred) Adept with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Strong organizational and interpersonal skills High school diploma AS or BS in industrial hygiene, environmental science or related science/engineering fields (preferred)
