Job Description
Summary: Visually inspect, assemble, and package product to customer specifications. Load, unload, and move materials within the plant by performing the following dutiesTasks:Observe and follow all safety rules, plans, policies, and expectationsMaintain quality standards established for the assembly and/or packaging of productWork efficiently and achieve established production standardsFollow work instructions and ISO established standardsOperate hoists and material handling equipment as necessary to manipulate productRead work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be movedLoad and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves as necessaryAttach identifying tags or labels to materialsLoad materials into vehicles and prepare for safe shipmentPickup and deliver materials to and from storage and work areas as neededVia computer entry, maintain counts, weights, and material receipt and movement recordsMaintain regular and predictable attendanceFulltime 40 hr. commitment with occasional overtime expectedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GEDPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:One-year experience in an industrial environmentPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Routinely lift and/or move up to 40 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perceptionRoutinely reach with hands and arms to handle or feelFrequently required to stand and walkOccasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouchStarting Pay $22.47/hour
