No matter if your heart lies in pediatric speech development, adult neurogenic communication rehabilitation, or geriatrics cognitive-linguistic recovery, you will discover a space that celebrates versatility and personal growth.DescriptionConduct assessments for patients across various age groups, employing both standardized tests and observational methods.Craft tailored treatment plans that cater to both immediate needs and long-term goals in communication and swallowing.Implement individualized speech therapy focused on areas such as language, voice, fluency, and swallowing capabilities.Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, and family members, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.Provide education and resources to patients and families for continued support and progress outside therapy sessions.Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies to ensure comprehensive continuity of care.Ensure precise and timely documentation consistent with all regulatory standards.Engage in ongoing professional development through training, education, and peer consultations.EducationMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. CertificationsState licensing as a Speech Language Pathologist.Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
